WORLD renowned artist Dame Tracey Emin has lent her distinctive hand to a new Christmas card design in support of pet charity Blue Cross – using her cats Teacup and Pancake as inspiration.
The limited-edition packs of ten cards, feature the feline pair - one cat seated, the other reclining - accompanied by the words ‘Teacup, Pancake I Love you more Than Anything’, along with Emin’s signature and the year 2025.
Available now, the packs of 10 cards are being sold in Blue Cross charity shops and online within the UK, with every purchase helping to support sick, injured, and homeless pets.
Dame Tracey donated the work free of charge, ensuring that the profit from each pack will raise funds for the charity’s vital services.

She said: “My cats Teacup and Pancake are my whole world and this Christmas card illustration is a tribute to them, a celebration of the warmth, joy and unconditional love they bring into my life.
“We’re fortunate to have each other but not all pets are as lucky. Many are without homes, or in need of help. Thanks to Blue Cross’s compassion and dedication to caring for our animal companions, many pets’ lives have been transformed.
“That’s why supporting this wonderful charity means so much to me.”
Dame Tracey rose to fame in the late 1980s. She was born in London and studied at Maidstone College of Art and The Royal College of Art and has exhibited extensively around the world. She is based in Margate.
Chris Burghes, Blue Cross CEO said: “We were delighted when Dame Tracey generously offered to donate her artwork for our Christmas card.
“Her drawing beautifully captures the bond between people and their pets and we are sure it will resonate with both animal lover and art enthusiasts alike.”
With the increasing demand for Blue Cross pet welfare services, the charity needs the support of animal lovers to continue its work helping pets and their people.
People can help by donating to keep rehoming and veterinary services going, fundraising, providing foster care for pets while new homes are found, volunteering at pet food banks, or by signing up to support Blue Cross campaigns for better pet welfare www.bluecross.org.uk
