Pawsome Pooch dog event bounds back to Clarks Village

CLARKS Village’s popular Pawsome Pooch event is set return later this month.

Free activities on offer at the Somerset shopping outlet will include pet photo shoots, pooch pampering, dazzling dog trick displays, have-a-go agility sessions and live portrait illustrations. 

Held on Saturday, September 13 and Sunday, September 14, Pawsome Pooch’s judges will also be looking out for the next CEO - canine executive officer - of Clarks Village.  

Free professional photo shoots will be offered to dogs attending, with ten selected to move forward to a public vote to find the winner.

As well as being crowned CEO, the top dog will also receive a prize package worth £500, which includes shopping vouchers, and will become a familiar face at the centre. 

The new champion will take over from last year’s Pawsome Pooch winner, Dudley, a three-legged Hungarian Vizsla.

In addition, every dog taking part in the photo shoot will be gifted a free digital portrait.  

This will be the third Pawsome Pooch event hosted by Clarks Village, which holds the title of the UK’s most dog-friendly shopping centre, awarded at the DogFriendly Awards.
