A PET owner has launched a range of air fresheners to help people rid their homes of animal odours.
Jordan Ashford, from Hereford, decided to take matters into her own hands after becoming frustrated with the quality of similar products on the market.
She discovered store-bought wax melts and air fresheners only masked odours rather than eliminating them and has now created Ease-E Melts to offer a pet-safe solution.
Back in 2023, Jordan began experimenting with handmade wax melts after growing frustrated with mass-produced, chemically filled products on the high street. What started as a hobby soon became a passion.
Jordan said: “I remembered something my dad always told me – ‘find a job that you love, and you’ll never work a day in your life’. For the first time, it really resonated. I knew this was what I wanted to do.”

The turning point came after walking her lemon beagle, Nala.
“It poured down with rain and when we got home, the wet dog smell was unbearable,” Jordan said.
“I lit one of my melts and while it masked the smell temporarily, the stench returned the next day. I realised I wasn’t solving the problem - and that’s when Ease-E Melts was born.”
Jordan set about developing a range of products that eliminate odours safely and effectively.
They include wax melts, quick-use sprays and carpet fresheners that banish smells in minutes without harsh chemicals or scrubbing.
Jordan said: “The first time I tested my products, I knew I was onto something. The dog smell in the air was actually gone.
“For the first time, I felt relief and confidence in my home and that’s the feeling I want to give other pet parents.”
The product launch comes at a time when pet ownership in the UK is at record levels, with an estimated 57% of households now owning a pet.
A OnePoll survey also revealed that 23% per cent of British people rank pet odours among the top 20 nastiest household smells.
And further research by Yes Homebuyers found that 11% of prospective buyers would even be put off purchasing an otherwise perfect home if it smelled of pets.
Ease-E Melts will soon be available online at www.ease-emelts.com
